Terrence M. McShane

Terrence M. McShane is a founding member of the law firm Lee & McShane, PC, and he concentrates his practice in business litigation, employment and real estate matters. His business litigation practice covers a broad array of commercial matters including: representing architects and engineers in construction disputes; banks, mortgage lenders and real estate organizations in class actions and other lawsuits; and corporations in government contract actions. In addition to his business litigation practice, he advises clients on contracts, commercial leases and employment issues as well as other transactional matters.

Prior to Lee & McShane, PC, he was a partner in the law firm, Carr Goodson Lee and Warner where he practiced for seven years. Before entering private practice, he served as an Assistant District Attorney to Robert M. Morganthau, District Attorney of New York County (Manhattan), New York.

Terrence M. McShane is an active member of the Litigation Section of the D.C. Bar Association. He is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

A graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Business Administration (B.S.B.A. 1976), Terrence M. McShane received his law degree from Georgetown University Law School (J.D. 1983). He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and New York.

Terrence M. McShane served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1972 with UDT/SEAL Teams.
